Education service to the village

Posted July 1, 2020

As COVID-19 disrupted the school year we had to find ways and means to educate the children under our care. For six months there was no school and with no educated adult at home or dedicated cellphone to continue with the virtual class as provided by the state government our kids were once again at the losing end of the war against illiteracy among the poor and marginalized.

So our teachers accepted to go to the children. While adhering to the COVID protocols, wearing facemask at all times, sanitizing their hands, and maintaining social distancing our teachers have valorously continued to help our kids stay in school.

India's Independence Day 2020

Posted August 16, 2023

For the first time in the 73 years of India's independence, there was no celebratory mood in the country due to the pandemic and other natural disasters that many states were reeling under.

Under the government's instruction, only the school staff and management were present on the school premises to hoist the tri-color on a very wet and rainy morning. The chairperson of the Parents' Associaton hoisted the flag.

Ever since its graduation from ABM High School, the Class of 2006 has returned every year to give awards to kids who demonstrate excellence; they also distribute gifts to all kids for encouragement.

This year when they called they were advised to send only representatives who braved Corona and the heavy cyclonic rains, to present the awards and gifts. The HM in-charge Mr. S Malikarjuna Roa received the same on behalf of the school.
